2026 8th Grade Field Trip

Buddy Taylor Middle School is excited to announce that sign-ups for our 8th Grade End-of-Year Trip opens today! The trip will take place on Thursday, May 28th.

8th grade families may register their scholar using the following link:

Once the form is submitted, each scholar will be reviewed to ensure all eligibility requirements are met. Families will then receive an email with detailed payment instructions. Registration and payments will close at the end of the day on April 17, 2026. Please note that the trip is limited to the first 200 eligible scholars. Chaperones for this trip will be BTMS faculty and staff only.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, scholars must meet all of the following criteria:

• Earn passing final cumulative grade averages in all courses, including electives.

  • Final grades will be reviewed five days prior to the event to confirm eligibility.

  • Families can view cumulative averages in the “Final” column of the scholar’s Skyward gradebook.

• No out-of-school suspensions after January 7, 2026

• No more than two disciplinary referrals after January 7, 2026

• No unserved detentions at the time of the trip

• No Level 4 SESIR referrals for the entire 2025–2026 school year

Cost & Payment Information

• $160 (cash or check)

• $165 (online payment)

• Scholars with an annual pass:

  • $80 (cash or check)

  • $85 (online payment)

Payment plans are available in four installments of $45. The cost includes the admission ticket, required trip t-shirt, and transportation by bus. Meals and additional purchases are not included.
