January 26-30, 2026 will be full of fun, literacy events for our Literacy Week: Read, White and Blue.
See below for details of our Beanstack Reading Challenge, Dress Up Days, Activities and Book Swap.
Read and log 20 minutes or more a day in Beanstack to earn prizes. Beanstack can be found in Classlink.
Dress Up Days
Monday: 100th Day celebration (Dress up as a 100 year old or wear 100 things)
Tuesday: Statement T-shirt (Share how it relates to reading for a PBIS point)
Wednesday: Twin Day or Literacy Duo
Thursday: Pajama Day
Friday: Eagle Spirit (your house colors or red, white and blue)
Bring your books to the Media Center Monday through Wednesday and the Book Swap will be Thursday and Friday.
![Who’s ready to kiss a pig? 🐷 Many of our amazing Buddy Taylor teachers and staff members have volunteered to participate in our “Kiss the Pig” contest. Students will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite teacher or staff member by donating $1 per vote. At the end of the fundraiser, the top three vote-getters will each kiss a real pig!
