Flagler Schools and Education Foundation Launch District-Wide ‘Kids4Reel’ Junior Angler Partnership
Bunnell, FL - Flagler County School District and the Flagler County Education Foundation have officially integrated the ‘Kids4Reel’ Junior Angler Program into district schools. Already
active in elementary, middle, and high schools, this partnership scales real-world marine science education, conservation ethics, and character-building outdoor mentorship across Flagler County.
“We have long admired ‘Kids4Reel’ for their youth fishing clinics and marine science exhibits,” said LaShakia Moore, Flagler Schools Superintendent. “Making them a core district program gives our students
meaningful, hands-on learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom."
Through this partnership, ‘Kids4Reel’ delivers direct impact across three pillars:
- Conservation & Marine Education: Interactive instruction on local ecosystems, water safety, and environmental stewardship.
- Direct Classroom & Club Support: Providing expert mentors, specialized gear, and training to local school programs.
- Community-Driven Mentorship: Partnering with local civic organizations to build student leadership and confidence.
